Headquartered in Morgan Hill, CA with an office in Irvine and a Gilroy Distribution Center, we continue to look for champions to join our staff.  Fox is seeking an excellent HR Representative to be based at the Morgan Hill Office.



 

HR Functions:

Benefits Administration:

  New Hire Benefits Enrollment

Conduct Benefits Meetings

Review/Approve Monthly Invoices

  Coordinate Annual Open Enrollment

Employment:

  Process Personnel Requisitions

Job Ad Placement – internal, newsprint, websites, etc.

  Resume/Application Screening and Routing/Response Cards

  Conduct Phone Interviews and Reference Checks

Coordinate Interview Scheduling

  Coordinate INS Visas as needed

  Coordinate Pre-Employment Screening

  Prepare and Issue New Hire Paperwork

  Initiate IT New User Requests  

  Enter new employees in ADP

  Draft offer letters when needed

  Compile and send offer letter packages

Work with temporary staffing agencies as needed

Conduct New Hire Orientation

Terminations:

  Process and prepare termination requests

  Assist Managers with termination procedures and termination meetings as needed

Other Duties:

Coordinate mandatory Online Sexual Harassment Training  

Process Leave of Absence Requests

Respond to EDD Unemployment Claims

Approve office supply orders as needed

Maintain records of HR/Payroll offsite storage

Accurate filing of HR/Payroll documents in employee personnel folders

 

Payroll Functions

-  Set-up new hires in HRIS

-  Assist with payroll inquiries

-  Backup Payroll department as needed

 

Minimum Education, Experience and Skills Required:

-  BS or BA Degree

-  Minimum of 2 years professional administrative experience

-  Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality

-  ADP experience preferred

-  Advanced skills in Windows, Word, Excel, Internet and PowerPoint

-  Type 45+ wpm

-  Superior verbal and written communication skills - must be friendly, compassionate and approachable

-  Excellent organizational skills

-  Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

-  Learns and retains new concepts and technology quickly

-  Comprehends instructions quickly and correctly

-  Follows-through on all assignments independently

-  Must have a good attendance history

-  Able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision

-  Familiarity with California and Federal Labor Laws

-  Able to work amiably in a team environment with diverse personalities

-  Occasional travel to satellite locations

 

Physical Requirements:

-  May be required to work more than 8 hours during a workday

-  Sitting for long periods of time

-  Significant manual dexterity for keying in data for long periods of time

 

Scheduling Requirements:

-  Must be available to work occasional overtime and off-hours

-  Must be available during standard business hours
