Gore Retail Tech RepJob Description: W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. in conjunction with Highline Sports & Entertainment, Inc. is searching for Gore Retail Tech Reps who find excitement working and training people and retailers that sell GORE-TEX® products. The available positions will be based in Seattle, Washington, and will focus on influencing and creating value for retailers of GORE-TEX® branded footwear, outerwear and accessories manufactured by Gore’s elite list of wholesale customers. This position includes working with key independent outdoor retailers as well as nationally known retail chains. The Gore Retail Technical Reps will focus on retail training and keeping the GORE-TEX® brand up front and visible through close working relationships with the front line people who sell the company’s products. It will be important to become a valuable resource for retailers who carry GORE-TEX® branded footwear, outerwear and accessories. As a GRTR, you will ensure sell through of Gore branded footwear, outerwear and accessories through optimal retail in-store training programs, advocating of GORE® brands and product technology by means of shared consumer experiences and providing local qualitative marketplace insights. You will create and conduct dynamic educational clinics covering GORE® footwear, outerwear and accessories and conduct effective in-store training visits. This responsibility will require working closely with key retailers, Gore Associates and Highline management.You will create energy and passion for the GORE-TEX® and WINDSTOPPER® brands by sharing Gore’s history and heritage. You will implement strategic training plans to ensure educational plans are reflective of category, business unit, and Gore NA Consumer Fabrics priorities. W. L. Learn more about Highline at gohighline.comQualifications You’re an ideal candidate for this job, if you have: • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum one year of retail, sales, customer service, coaching or teaching experience (or combination thereof) or 2 additional years' experience in lieu of degree.
