LT Apparel a leader in children's apparel is seeking a Girls' Associate Designer.

Division/Department:  Merchandising/Design 

 

Job Title: Associate Designer

 

Immediate Supervisor: Designer  

 

Position Summary:

To provide the designer with assistance in paperwork processing, flow, and follow-up throughout the line development process. Design and follow through full execution of line development.

Primary/Essential Job Functions:

50%

1. Developing, selecting, and filling out Tech packs, Accessory and Artwork ID pages.

 

10%

2. Interacting with other departments to ensure line development is properly executed.

 

10%

3. Track approvals in Envision.

 

10%

4. Communicate with overseas for proper execution for line development.

Secondary Job Functions:

5%

1. Assisting with trend, fabric, trim and color development.

 

5%

2. Set up seasonal concept boards and catalog.

 

5%

3. Sample shop for trend and style direction.

 

5%

4. Participate in fit sessions and review specs with Technical Designer.

 















 



Work Experience Requirements: 3-5 years of experience as well as knowledge of color, design, and pattern-making

 

Education Requirements:

Candidate must have four-year degree 

 

Required Skills:

Knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop required, Freehand helpful. Strong color sense and attention to detail.
