Finance Manager - Pricing & Strategy (MO)
Privately held manufacturing company located in New York City with a focus on eco-friendly processes is seeking a Finance Manager - Pricing & Strategy to provide business support, deal structuring and analysis for the Sales Team to achieve increased business profitability and revenue maximization. Position reports to the CFO and supports the VP of Sales.
RESPONSIBILITIESSupport Sales Team through timely and accurate analysis of deals, customer marketing segments, and business opportunities, including analysis of financial structuring scenarios, pricing, costs and contribution margins Engage in proactive, up-front deal analysis to enable informed decision-making Play a leadership role in establishing, analyzing and attaining Sales Business Plan goals Assist with contract negotiations process, including preparation of alternative scenarios and forecasts Work with financial analyst to ensure adherence to negotiated contract terms Work with VP of Sales to establish performance metrics for Sales Team and interpret and communicate results to management Support and adhere to financial and business policies and accounting processes
REQUIREMENTS MBA preferred; ideal candidate will have 7 – 10 years of experience, including a combination of Corporate Business Development (or Investment Banking) and practical experience in an operational role Strong business acumen, analytical skills and financial deal structuring experience Strong communication skills, including the ability to influence and persuade in a cooperative manner Advanced Excel, including the ability to create and model complex scenarios using advanced analytical tools Demonstrated sense of urgency and deadline orientation Some travel to other East Coast offices; occasional travel to Southern California headquarters Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
