E-Commerce Specialist

The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for the content management of the SpeedoUSA.com web site in order to meet the company goals and initiatives for SpeedoUSA.com. Key responsibilities include set-up, maintenance and monitoring of all web site content to ensure accuracy and clear communication. Â
Essential Job Responsibilities
·       Responsible for the entire product publishing process ensuring that all assets are in place to publish products accurately and timely to the web site.
·       Copywriter for web site content. Write, self-edit and proof product copy that clearly and accurately communicates product information.
·       Handle planning, implementation, and follow-through with photography studio for all web site product and outfit photography including: organizing and sending product to studio, direction on product styling, post-production, & maintaining image directories and archives
·       Manage customer-friendly keywords/text that are associated with products in order to maximize relevant results within on-site search and SEM programs
·       Manage on-line merchandising of product and establish relevant cross-sells and up sells
·       Execute and analyze web analytic data to measure results and drive decision making for changes to the web site.
·       Work with designers, merchants, marketing partners, and others to develop accurate web site content.
·       Liaison to SpeedoUSA.com Customer Service for product, pricing updates, & information.
·       Partner with IT and Web Teams during the development and implementation stages of new web site initiatives
·       Implement required style set-up within SAP

Education, Work Experience & Special Skills
·       Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
·       3-5 years in web experience, preferably with a retailer of apparel.
·       Prior experience in merchandising and marketing is also preferable
·       Web experience should include a solid understanding of site navigation, use of content management tools and reporting tools
