TEAMWORK ATHLETIC APPAREL, a leading manufacturer and distributor of stock and custom athletic apparel located in San Marcos, CA, is currently seeking an experienced and energetic Buyer (contract) to assist our extremely busy, growing and fast-paced Supply Chain Department. This assignment will last ~ 3 months.
Qualified candidates should possess the following experience/skills/abilities to be considered for the role:Bachelor's preferred but not required5+ years of actual buying experience to include solicitation of bids, negotiating contracts, and solidifying dealsExperience using MRP systemStrong computer skills and high-level Excel proficiencySix Sigma, Practical Process Improvement (PPI), or other continuous process/system improvement experience helpfulFlexibilityAbility to start within one week after offerAbility to communicate effectively (written or verbal)High level customer service and professionalismIndustry experience helpful
