Assistant Program Manager - textile contract

Responsibilities

· Assist PM with interface with Manufacturer to answer questions, gather information, and check on the status of issues/special projects/ commercial orders etc

· After initial contact is made by PM with Manufacturers, send out NDA for signature and request for quote packages

· Take calls and questions from the manufacturers that are technical related to construction or patterns. Any questions that you cannot answer please refer to Technical Manager.  Any issue or question that cannot be resolved, please report to the PM.

· Coordinate with QA manager to answer any quality related questions

· Coordinate with Technical Manager to issue letters to the vendors outlining any Purchase Descriptions (PD) amendments approved by the Government, these letters should also be loaded to SOLVS as amendments to the PD. Maintain a “live” PD that will be issued to the vendors quarterly replacing obsolete PD and amendments.

· Prepare first article test (FAT) plans at least 2 weeks prior to the FAT date. Send the plan to the PM for review

· Coordinate the submission of CoCs and Corrective action packages with QA Manager for submission by deadline

· Save a copy of all Contract Mods and Delivery Orders to the U:Drive and log it into the Contracts Mod Reference Sheet (excel file)

· Maintain a “live” version of the contract that is updated with each contract modification

· Process DD250 requests from the Kitting Facility and send them to Accounting team (Patrick & Wendy) using the DD250 request worksheet

· Pull signed DD250s from WAWF, save them to the U drive, and email a copy to the Government

· Enter DD250 into SOLVs and or the Government’s website if applicable

· Enter sales orders for items pulled from inventory for write-off

· Enter Purchase Orders (contract and commercial)

· Run the P.O. Summary Report and place it on the U drive



 

Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; experience may be substituted at hiring manager’s discretion1 year experience working with government contracts2 years experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
