Our goal is to offer a great selection of high quality linens and textiles at an affordable price.  Ã˜  Anna’s fosters a stable, growing, professional work environment!Ø  Anna’s appreciates and respects employee initiative!Ø  Anna’s is committed to investing in their staff!   We are currently considering candidates for the following opportunity:ALLOCATION ANALYST Position Summary: Develop and maintain optimum store inventory levels to maximize sales, gross margin and inventory turnover. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Work with the Buying Team and Manager to achieve agreed upon division and department merchandise goals (both strategic and financial).· Develop and maintain optimum store inventory levels to maximize sales, gross margin and inventory turnover. Establish model inventory at the SKU level by store.· Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis/reports.· Prepare and maintain all purchase order logs for use in the OTB.· Assist buyer in planning/forecasting the needs for key items and overseas core programs· Develop, analyze and maintain store groups.· Prepare various store and category analyses to continually drive business.· Develop and execute initial store allocation in partnership with buying team.· Execute initial allocation and timely replenishment of merchandise.  Determine replenishment quantities on basic items.· Recommend and execute agreed upon store stock balancing.· Work closely with consolidator to ensure timely and accurate receiving of merchandise facilitating store allocations and/or replenishment.· Monitor new store performance to determine proper inventory mix (in terms of classifications, price points, patterns, etc) and set optimum stock levels (factoring in peaks and valleys of the store).· Perform all system purchase order authorization REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS · Minimum 3 years prior merchandise allocation and replenishment experience (preferably within an apparel environment).· Minimum 2 years of merchandise planning experience (unit and dollar planning and forecasting)· Independent thinker· Strong execution, analytical and decision making skills· Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.· Advanced Microsoft Excel experience· Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office) required, JDA allocation experience preferred.   APPLY NOW!
