Administrative Assistant / Assistant Manager - Luxury Online Retailer

Renowned, web based retail company, BabyBox.com, specializing in luxury baby and toddler goods, is seeking an energetic, hardworking individual to join their team. This position is based in Darien, CT and the candidate will assist in all aspects of administrating and managing the business. The individual must possess the following job skills and personal requirements:- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional written English is important.- Must be organized, self motivated, able to multi task.- Must have superior customer service skills, analytical and problem solving abilities.- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.- Must be familiar with Quickbooks and image editing software (preferably Adobe Photoshop). The right candidate may receive further training if necessary. The job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):- Answering customer email and telephone calls and providing accurate information.- Processing daily orders through QuickBooks- Accurately handling Daily book keeping including management of accounts receivable and payable, month-end close reports, reconciliation of bank and credit card statements - Filing all paperwork.- Maintain and control inventory and par stock levels.- Daily website update of new products and images- Assist in product photography and image editing (Adobe Photoshop)- Assist in advertising, marketing projects including trunk and trade shows.- Assist in all other reasonable business functions and requests.This is a 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday; willing to work with a somewhat flexible schedule.
