e-Procurement Manager
Description:The e-Procurement Manager is responsible for working closely with the Supply Chain Systems Team to ensure a successfull deployment of e-Sourcing and e-Procurement tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of PSCM operations. Work collaboratively with the Supply Chain Systems Team in the development of e-Procurement systems and the delivery of savings in targeted procurement areas. This role will also provide thought leadership and be recognized as a BP Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all facets of e-Procurement technology for the PSCM Global Team.This role is an excellent development opportunity for a high potential candidate looking for exposure in a global team.Qualifications:To be considered for the role of this role the applicants must have:- Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer- The willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business, or PSCM is essential.- Demonstrated knowledge of e-Sourcing technologies.- Functional procurement experience and knowledge of cross sector best practices related to procurement.- Demonstrated systems project management skills- Experience implementing e-Procurement systems (Ex. PSCM provides procurement and supply chain management for oil and natural gas exploration, development and production and related transportation and processing activities. The PSCM function is envisioned as a key lever to provide a significant contribution to BP's bottom line and is in the midst of implementing a new Strategy to enable BP to meet its targets on cash costs, capital expenditures and production.
