Technician Principal - R133

The key focus of this technician assistant position is to support the Personal Care Product Development Group through material property testing as well as formulation performance testing, producing testing samples through chemical reaction or material blending, reporting testing results, and conducting routine maintenance of various instruments. The technician will be responsible for organizing and executing assigned routine laboratory tasks with little or no involvement from supervisor unless some experimental anomaly occurs. The technician will keep lab appropriately supplied, and keep basic equipment functioning and certifiably calibrated. The technician will also be able to assemble experimental data in standard format to accurately and effectively communicate results and trends. In order to be considered, a high school graduation is required; a degree from college science a plus. The candidate with 1-3 years of actual or related experience in the field of polymers or chemistry is preferred.
