This position is housed in the company’s corporate tax structure and reports to the Director of Tax Compliance. The company’s corporate tax compliance team is responsible for all aspects of income tax compliance with respect to the global operations of the company including tax accounting, US tax return compliance, foreign tax return compliance, and audit support. The tax manager will be a member of this team and through coordination with the regional tax and accounting teams will be responsible for the income tax compliance for a specific region. Examples of specific responsibilities would include:• Manage tax accounting and reporting for regional operations through review and analytical analysis of monthly and quarterly tax information.• Manage US domestic, US impact of foreign operations and state/local tax return preparation and reporting requirements for regional operations.• Coordinate reporting of regional information to consolidations function.• Coordinate with regional tax and controller’s teams to ensure that tax accounts are properly stated in the financial statements.• Support both Federal and state tax audits, as needed. • Track tax positions and their potential impacts on the company's compliance effort and effective tax rate.Experience Required:• BS Accounting with 7-10 years experience in public accounting or in a large multinational business with significant corporate compliance exposure • Solid MS Office skills (including Excel, Word and Powerpoint)• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Excellent written and verbal skills Experience Preferred:• FAS 109, Accounting for Income Taxes, experience• ETS (Corptax) tax preparation software experience• CPA preferred• Tax coursesWe are an equal opportunity employer.
