Environmental Analyst TEM Analyst/ Geology

Airtek Environmental Corp. has an opening for a Full Time and another opening for a Part Time Environmental Asbestos Analyst by TEM.

 

Candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited, to;

The accurate and precise identification of asbestos in building materials and of airborne fibers using TEM microscopy.

 

 

The complete understanding of principles and applications of transmission electron microscopy and specifically ISO 10312 method. The complete understanding of principles and practices of laboratory sample control, sample management, chain-of-custody and documentation. The understanding laboratory safety procedures.Performing QA/QC practices per company QA/QC manual requirements.

 

Candidates should possess a minimum of a BS in Geology, Biology or related, experience in asbestos analysis by TEM ISO 10312 method is a must. The ideal candidate will have experience in asbestos analysis by PLM, PCM, and/or TEM AHERA methods.
