Our client, General Electric Bently Nevada division is currently seeking a Systems & Instrumentation Technical Advisor.Job Description: The S&I Technical Advisor will be providing on-site technical direction to turbine related services (installation, maintenance or retrofit) to utility, industrial, transportation, government and commercial customers while giving direction for commissioning of Bently Nevada Vibration monitoring equipment. Will be responsible for completing standard service reports, monitoring site safety on projects, invoice packages and other administrative requirements. Training:Our client GE will provide the technical skills for the Engineer to operate confidently and independently for Granite Service International. Training is conducted at one of the GE Learning Center Facilities. After the formal classroom training, on the job training will commence depending on the specific individuals knowledge and experience. Requirements: Hands-on experience with industrial turbine/generators Knowledge of/ exposure to Bently Systems Instrumentation/controls experience/ exposure Strong interpersonal skills Technical competence Leadership ability Computer skills Willingness to travel are necessary to become a capable field engineer Successful completion of training program is a minimum requirement. Be on call 24x7 Must live near major airport with jet serviceContract Details: 1 yr – Contract Assignment Competitive salary Full benefits are offered to employees including: (medical, dental, vision and 401K program) Job assignments can be either domestic or international.  Extensive travel, weekend work, and shift work will be necessary.
