The Strategic Account Manager position is a critical job for BW Technologies by Honeywell. The precise individual will be tasked with identifying, negotiating and winning direct business within Oil & Gas and other key vertical market segments (power, utilities, pulp and paper, shipping, telecom, steel and petrochemicals). Primary focus should remain in Oil & Gas where BW has already established business. The secondary role is to identify regional Strategic Account development opportunities and work with the regional sales team to expand our business. This work will include joint calls and the ability to communicate and coordinate growth initiatives between multiple sales people, managers, distributors, and geographies; this is key to the success of the position.

 

Goals next 12 months: 15 % + Growth in Key Accounts. Total Sales Target of Approximately 5 MillionIdentify & Penetrate large National Account opportunities (Oil & Gas)Maintain forecasts and proper reporting.Generate and sustain strong sales growth.Identify & penetrate other key vertical market National Account opportunities i.e... Power Utilities, Telecom, etc.

 

Competencies: (Education, and Skills) Strong industry experience 5+ yearsGas detection experience a plus but not necessarily required.A people person with the ability to captivate the attention and action of clients to increase: business revenue, opportunities and relationships.Technical aptitude and desire as important as dynamic salesmanship.Ability to utilize many computer tools (Excel, PowerPoint) to present details and solutions to clients in a professional presentation format.Good communication skills (i.e. Training & Presentation, and more).Ability to generate reports and find opportunities within the details.Positive Reputation, self- motivated with a confidence to achieve results.Thrives on the challenge to expand business, leverage existing business, and grow national accounts.Ability to partner with & inspire indirect reports to achieve strategic account goals.College Degree. Travel 50%
