Shipper/Receiver
A specialty chemical company located in West Deptford, NJ is seeking a Shipper/Receiver.  The incumbent will be responsible for the reception of precious metal into West Deptford, signing receipts and weighing the received material. The incumbent will also weigh, package and prepare finished products for shipment to our customers. The Shipper/Receiver will be coordinating all shipments per agreed schedules and reviewing all specifications prior to shipment to ensure the customer receives what they expect. In carrying out duties, all pertinent labeling, packaging, shipping, and storage requirements must be met in accordance with state, federal, and DOT regulations. The incumbent will be expected to perform other duties as required.
High School diploma or GED, strong math aptitude, and basic computer skills required. Shipping/Receiving experience in precious metals, knowledge of MSDS, DOT, and state and federal regulations governing the handling of hazardous material are preferred. Knowledge of internal JM systems like LIMS, IRIS, KBM a plus.
