Senior Scientist/Engineer - Device Physics

E Ink is looking for a Senior Scientist / Engineer to work with a fast-paced Ink and Device Physics Team of engineers and scientists to integrate electronic ink films into display devices. This person will be primarily responsible for developing and producing innovative algorithms for creating images in display devices that use E Ink's Imaging Film. Additional activities include analyzing electro-optical properties of display films, and developing specifications and designs of display sub-components in order to ensure successful integration of E Ink's Imaging Film into display devices.

Skill Requirements

Advanced degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering, or closely related field; 5-10 years industrial experience; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Proven record of innovation; Strong programming ability, especially as applied to optimization; experience with Matlab programming is a plus; Experience with electro-optic materials and electronic devices preferred; Strong analytic skills required; High level of comfort in executing laboratory experiments required; and Willingness to spend part of time performing production activities.
