Baker Atlas services and information allow oil and gas companies to define, reduce and manage risk with advanced well logging and completion services for the exploration and production industry. The diverse range of services applies throughout the reservoir life cycle in support of the drilling process, during prospect evaluation and appraisal, to production and reservoir management.  Over the past five years Baker Atlas has substantially grown the Geoscience business. Today Baker Atlas is considered to be at the forefront of developments in formation evaluation technology and analysis. The crucial element that enables the application of this leading edge technology is the skillful petrophysical interpretation of wireline and LWD data meeting highest professional standards.  The primary objective of Baker Atlas is to help clients transform data into informed business decisions that maximize asset value.Baker Atlas, a division of Baker Hughes, has an immediate opening for a Senior Petrophysicist. Job Description:  Conducting petrophysical interpretation studies of single or multi-well wireline or LWD logs in order to aid Baker Atlas clients in exploratory and field development decision-making by applying knowledge of formation evaluation; Participation in the pre-logging and post-logging job meetings w/customer; Generating petrophysical products, providing support to Baker Atlas field operations and working closely with Baker Atlas sales and marketing team; Petrophysical product and service development; The delivery of projects to a deadline.  Special Skills·         Excellent technical and analytical skills·          Excellent communication and presentation skills ·         The candidate must be able to work in a team environment ·         Able to work independently and with a minimum of direct supervision ·          Able to work under pressure Education/ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Geoscience or related earth science discipline plus 6 years experience or Preferred Masters Degree with min 4+ years experience in petrophysics or related discipline ·     Strong background in formation evaluation. ·     General knowledge of the oil and gas exploration and production industry.·     Good computer literacy and readiness for multidisciplinary training is essential.   Baker Atlas offers a complete range of downhole well logging services including advanced formation evaluation, production and reservoir engineering, petrophysical and geophysical data acquisition services.
