We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team headquartered in Wichita, KS. Responsibilities:• Create real economic value by reducing the number of days required to close the ledger by automating and standardizing the month-end close process• Develop working relationships with other parts of the organization to better understand their needs and enhance the month-end close process• Prepare and communicate monthly close calendar• Coordinate month-end close calls including local and site personnel• Follow up on resolution of open issues identified in month-end close calls• Open and close the general ledger, A/R sub-ledger, and A/P sub-ledger during month-end close• Reconcile SAP data to various data marts and Hyperion• Serve as point of contact for master data additions and changes (G/L, cost centers, profit centers, trading partners, etc.)• Provide miscellaneous month-end close support and training to local and regional accountants• Administer late SAP entries and prepare monthly scorecard• Create ad hoc reports as requiredExperience Required• Bachelors degree in accounting with 4-6 years of experience • Previous experience with SAP financials in the FI / CO / SD modules• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)Experience Preferred• Certified Public Accountant• Previous experience as an accounting system coordinator in SAPWe are an equal opportunity employer.
