Security Operations Center Analyst - I - 08003394

   **This is a one-year Employment Contract position that includes a very comprehensive benefit plan (medical, dental, vision, and bonus program eligibility)  The Employment Contract could extend beyond one year or be converted to regular status**  Provides analytical and operational security expertise in a 24 x 7 Security Operations Center environment for technological security components in relation to corporate and associated applications, desktops, servers, networks, and phone systems.  Monitor, identify and remediate information security events and incidents, including malicious code infections, rogue network devices, access violations, Security Policy Framework violations, virus alerts, information breach incidents, logon failures, and suspicious resources-intensive usage Answer the Security Operations Center Hotline, SOC Mailbox, and Support SOC ticket queue Ensure Compliance with SPF Ensure Compliance with SPF Other duties as assignedPlease note that this is a third shift position with the work hours initially scheduled to be from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.  Work hours could change to first or second shift after six months. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline or equivalent experience Two to three years of directly related experience working in a security operations center (SOC), network operations center (NOC) or computer security incident response center (CSIRC) Experience with Anti-Virus, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Firewalls, Active Directory, Vulnerability Assessment tools and other components found in large network environments Security certification such as CISSP, SANS GIAC, Security+, Network+, Linux+, MCSE, CCNA or SSCP preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Windows and UNIX operating systems, and CISCO and/or Foundry Networking equipment
