FAST PACED, CASUAL ENVIRONMENT
PREVIOUS ADMIN AND STRONG MS OFFICE REQUIRED


We are a mid sized company specializing in the development of chemicals used in agriculture with a history of growth and expansion.  Increasing sales has led to this position as additional support to our Executive Sales Team.  We seek an Assistant who is familiar supporting a sales team and enjoys working with customers.  Sales department is fast paced, successful and views the Assistant as an integral part of their team. 

Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to national sales teamPrepare proposals and contractsGather key sales statistics on a weekly basis and create weekly production reportAct as center of information regarding client messages, emails and urgent requestsPrepare routine sales letters and email communicationsReview department expenses and submit for approvalReview daily calendar for Sales Managers; prepare necessary meeting materials
Arrange domestic travelOrder department supplies including all marketing and sales collateralAssist with planning client seminars as neededMonitor timely expense report submissionsPrepare ad hoc sales reports for executive staff as needRecognize urgent situations and alert sales staff or management
Special projects
Requirements
5 years experience as an Administrative AssistantPrevious experience supporting VP Sales or National Sales TeamAdvanced MS WordAdvanced MS Excel including spreadsheetsAdvanced MS PowerPointPrevious experience drafting correspondence and client emailsOutstanding spelling, grammar and written communication skillsAbility to create visually appealing sales presentations and slidesHigh School graduate or equivalent; college courses a strong plus
