Sales and Marketing

TransTex Gas Services, LP is an established natural gas treating and processing company which supplies rental amine and gas processing equipment to the oil and gas producer and midstream companies.  We also provide operations of these plants as well as the turnkey installation of amine, processing, compression and production equipment facilities.

 

TransTex is searching for an exceptional, well rounded individual for the position of Sales & Marketing Representative that can live in the general South Texas Area.  This position will be able to utilize his/her home as their office thus eliminating the commute to work.

 

This position will be responsible for marketing TransTex to the Oil & Gas companies in and around the South Texas area and for providing sales activities to assist in the rental of gas treating and processing plants to gas producers and midstream companies as well as turnkey installation and operation of midstream facilities.   

 

The successful candidate will also negotiate lease contracts with customers and create proposals for sale and lease of equipment and services. 

 

Must possess discretion, good judgment, organizational and management skills & initiative.  Has the ability to prioritize work assignments, multitask and meet deadlines while working independently in a strong team environment.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

  Develop relationships with new and existing customers Generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts Assist in the cost estimation of projects Assess potential application of company products or services and offer solutions that meet customer needs Create custom proposals for customers Negotiate contracts with customers Represent company at trade and industry functions

 

Required Skills:

  Working knowledge of Oil & Gas Industry Previous sales experience Aggressive and determined attitude Generally Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) as well as general PC skills Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiating, writing and presentation skills in order to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts Good understanding of internal economic factors (cost, margins, profit impact of decisions) affecting assignment areas.

 

 

 

Education:

  Prefer some college with at least three to five years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in some sort of capacity
