Sales Representative for Industrial and Commercial Sectors

Job Purpose:

Serves industrial and commercial customers by selling air, gas, and liquid filtration products and services.

 

Duties:

 

* Services existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule. Prospecting and cold calling is a must.

* Develops key relationships with purchasing agents, engineers, maintenance workers, and planners/schedulers.

* Focuses sales efforts by studying existing market and targeting efforts at key industries.

* Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly call reports and monthly and quarterly sales meetings.

* Recommends changes in products and service due to new technology and changing environments.

* Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Compensation/Benefits:

Salary is base plus commission. Pay will be based on experience. Car allowance and company credit card for expenses.
