Safety & Health Inspector Wanted

 A 32 year-old leading company in the Tank Cleaning Industry is seeking responsible, integrity driven individual with a minimum of 2 years safety & health inspector experience in oil field, refinery, industrial maintenance, and/or pipeline related fields. The Safety & Heath Inspector Position requires the following:   50-60% travel for short periods; Conduct audits/investigations of work environments to determine if safety & health requirements are being met. Should be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures i.e. permit required confined space entry, OSHA injury and illness reporting, respiratory protection, personal protective equipment, confined space air monitoring practices and procedures. Assist in managing external regulatory compliance (OSHA, API, NFPA, DOT) Conduct job safety analysis Perform accident investigations to determine the factors that caused the accident and perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. Responsible for making recommendations for future education, and/or disciplinary action based on findings from the investigations. Conduct stand down meetings following accidents or near misses. Work with supervisors on accident management. Write up accident investigation reports and forward to safety manager.
