Safety Engineer - OxyChem
•Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and or transport our products, as our highest priority.
•Be a leader in programs, practices, and procedures developed to insure a safe workplace.
•Manage the industrial hygiene program.
•Manage the facility emergency response team.
•Ensure that fixed fire protection systems are maintained.
•Maintain plant radio system.
•Be a resource to plant and contractor personnel for safety issues and concerns.
B.S. degree in engineering or a safety related discipline; 5+ years of plant HES experience. Good written and oral communications skills. Understanding of HES policies and a strong commitment for continuous improvement in HES.
Good leadership and command skills.
