Regional Engineer
Provide engineering services (project development / management) for Targa Louisiana Field Services pipelines and facilities. These services include:
(1) Engineering support for both pipeline and plant operations.
(2) Engineering support for commercial activities associated with step-outs, plant modifications, and gas and liquid sales opportunities.
(3) Engineering support for pipeline and plant optimizations.
(4) Engineering support for both plant and pipeline compliance activities.
(5) Identification of value adding opportunities and the development of associated economic models.
(6) Engineering support for the start-up of new pipelines, systems, and processing facilities.
(7) Engineering support for troubleshooting and problem remediation associated with pipelines and processing facilities and operations.
(8) Engineering support in the development and review of bid packages.
(9) Capital Forecasting and reporting skills and responsibilities.
Minimium Essential Qualifications
BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Intermediate level desktop computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside the company
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas processing facilities
Experience using process simulators such as Hysis and Stoner
Working knowledge of PSM and D.O.T. compliance requirements.
Background and working knowledge of gas processing economic drivers and development of economic models.
