Quality Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: Major Chemical company conducting a Confidential Search for a Quality Manager.  Plant located in the Houston, TX area.  Will have total Plant responsibility for all Quality Operations ensuring that all manufactured products meet Regulatory and Customers specifications.  Job Duties include: Manage QC and QA functions which contains up to (5) employees (Supervisor, Quality Specialist, Analytical Chemist). Evaluate analytical data furnished by QC. Develop/approve all specifications for Raw Materials and Final Products. Manage the analysis and release of Raw Materials, Intermediates, Final Products, Analytical Testing Requirements. Management of day-to-day operations of the QC Lab, scheduling Analyst and Supervisor work schedules, QC data reviews, QC Lab documentation, Lab supply inventory. Maintenance and validation of Lab Info Management System. Assure that all Analytical Instrumentation and Methodology are updated and operational. Validate analytical methods.  Author validation protocols and reviews.Outstanding career opportunity with a financially sound company in a good geographic location. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have an advanced degree in Chemistry. Minimum 10 years experience in a chemical process manufacturing environment.  At least 5 years experience in a management role. Experience in both Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Experience working with cGMP regulations. Demonstrated Leadership and Interpersonal skills.
