You will review and approve both product and customer specifications compared to Ashland specifications. You may also be involved with the calibration of lab equipment, maintaining lab supplies, and other responsibilities as needed.    **Bachelor of Science in engineering related discipline preferred with 2 semesters of college chemistry **1+ year of experience in quality lab or quality engineering manufacturing environment. **Experience in automotive chemicals or lubricants is preferred. **Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment **Must be able to make quality decisions based on data and interact with people at all levels of the operation. **Must be willing to work flexible hours on both days and evenings **Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States   Ashland has a history of attracting the best people and keeping them.
