QC & FORMULATION CHEMIST

The Dalden Corporation is currently seeking a Chemist for its DFW location. 

 

Dalden packages and blends a wide variety of chemicals for markets around the world.  Ongoing growth in new personal care products has necessitated a new direction in our laboratory.

 

Job Responsibilities Perform routine Quality Control analyses for existing products - including pH, specific gravity, titrations, reactivity, viscosity, etc.  Maintain good documentation and retain system Implement QA system Troubleshoot quality deviations Work with Senior Formulation Chemist on new product development, to include raw material specifications, stability testing, etc. Direct Scale-up process Maintain all laboratory equipment, and recommend new equipment Reports directly to the GM

 

Position Requirements A minimum of 2 years in chemical laboratory experience preferred Basic understanding of interaction between production, sales and customer service Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good organizational skills, including strong documentation of all work Proficient in MS Office, coupled with strong math skills

 

Location:  Southlake, Texas, no relocations
