Purchasing Manager
Description:
Philadelphia area manufacturer of formulated metalworking products has immediate need for an experienced Purchasing Manager. You should have a minimum of 5 years experience in the procurement of chemical components (i.e. base oils, specialty additives, packaging, etc.).
Requirements: 5 years minimum experience in Procurement, commercial or technical areas (candidate must be able to contribute immediately without major training) Raw material / supply base knowledge / insights Strong negotiating skills Ability to develop actionable recommendations and implementation plans Proven track record in delivering year to year cost savingsÂ
Education:Â
Four year college degree from an accredited institution
Knowledge of Syspro a plus
