They service a wide range of industries, including:• Water and wastewater treatment • Waste to energy • Pharmaceutical • Power generation • Hazardous and environmental This Construction Company is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support, maintain and facilitate the profitability and schedules of projects under construction and jobs to bid. The qualified candidate will provide assistance to the project superintendents and project managers by facilitating the successful execution of the project. Some of the important functions shall include: • Shop drawing review • Resolving design conflicts with A-E/Owner • Developing submittal and change orders • Solicitation and evaluation of prices from vendors and distributors • Purchasing permanent project materials • Control of document distribution • Utilizing expedition to log PO’s, subcontracts, insurance certificates and correspondence. • Tracking fabrication and delivery of product and equipmentThe selected Project Engineer shall have the following qualifications: • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. • 3-5 years experience with project planning and scheduling, contracts, and project controls and procedures. • Experience with contract compliance and construction quality. • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. • Prompt and accurate judgment abilities a must. • Excellent time management skills are essential. • Skill in the use of Windows based personal computers in application of Microsoft Office Professional. • Proficiency with Expedition and Primavera Scheduling. • Personal commitment to team environment, safety, customer satisfaction and quality control.They offer an exciting and challenging work environment, competitive salaries and outstanding benefits.
