Production Superintendent - Chemical Engineering

Albemarle Corporation is currently seeking an Area Production Superintendent for our Magnolia, AR, chemical manufacturing facility.

 

Job/Position Responsibilities:Liaison between operations unit and management, business groups, and other departments.Oversee technical issues of the assigned units.Direct maintenance and operations planning functions.Cost and productivity.Product quality improvementSafety excellence.Staff management and development of 4 direct and 50 indirect reports

 Requirements:B.S. in Chemical Engineering or other technical degree. At least  7 years experience in chemicals manufacturing.At least 3 years in a supervisory role.



Essential Qualifications:Must have strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust have strong time management skills

Desired Qualifications:Experience in chemical manufacturing.Strong leadership and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment approach. Technical proficiency.
