Procurement Analyst-Supply Chain
General Function To provide detailed analytical support for commodity managers and senior operations staff who are engaged in negotiating and managing contracts for the supply of key products and services throughout the business.
JOB SCOPE
· Supply strategy development assistance.
· Research, collect data and provide spend analysis.
· Research, collect data and provide supplier market analysis.
· Bid process support to managers and staff (price model construction).
· Negotiations support in the form of analytical model build and management, supplier bid analysis and recommendations, and negotiation strategy development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Mathematics, or Supply Chain/Logistics. No substitution for education.
Experience / Skills
· Experience: Minimum three years analyst or technical experience in operations or sales. Will consider recent grads from major universities with exceptional supply chain educational programs who also have co-op or internship experience.
· Excellent analytical skills to gather and quantify data, make decisions regarding system parameters, and build reporting elements of demand planning.
· Superior communications skills are required to engage individuals at all levels of the company
· Technical: Intermediate to advance user of spreadsheets, formulas, reporting, modeling and technical writing by utilizing Word, Excel and data analysis software.
