Processing Supt.

South GA company needs a processing supt.  Will provide leadership and direction to employees to attain goals in the Processing Dept.  Will achieve dept. goals and metrics by managing crew, productivity, material usage, and equipment utilization.  Ensures safety, regulatory compliance, morale, and cost control.  Manages the process from the yard in, starting with the quality of the raw clay, storage and clay shed control, and quality all the way to packaging.  Develop a team concept wtih all of the other supts. in the sharing of regional assets and meeting regional goals......... 

Duties:  Supervise, train, schedule and review all processing staff.  Arrange for equipment inspections as necessary, coordinates maint. activities to meet established preventive maint. goals.  Develop and maintain procedure manual and training aids.  Coordinate with Packaging Supt. to insure clay supply for packaging operations.  Coordinate with Powders Processing and Packaging Supt. to ensure availability of feed material for Powders Production.  Coordinate production activities with Sales and Marketing and R&D to develop plans to meet company objectives for on-time shipments, product quality and development of new products.  Coordinate purchase of supplies and maint. materials necessary to sustain production at desired levels. 

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently. Must be able to stand all day.  Must be able to climb and work at heights.  Must be able to use small hand tools.  Bending, reaching, stooping, lifting, and twisting.........  Must be able to work outdoors and in a dusty environment. 

Qualifications:  Degree in Business, Chemistry or Engineering preferred.  WILL look at non-degreed candidates WITH EXPERIENCE in a manufacturing BULK HANDLING environment.  Salary ranges for non-degreed candidates will be a bit UNDER the salary ranges quoted below.......... 

MUST be able to work in USA with NO SPONSORSHIP.
