Principal Fired Equipment/Heat Transfer Engineer
Our client is one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of professional technical services. With annual revenues exceeding $10 billion. They offer full-spectrum support to industrial, commercial, and government clients across multiple markets. Services include scientific and specialty consulting as well as all aspects of engineering and construction, and operations & maintenance.
This Engineer must be experienced in thermal and mechanical design of burners, process and hot oil furnaces, refinery fired heaters, steam boilers, HRSG, flares, thermal oxidizers, incinerators, and various other types of fired equipment. Proficiency with PFR FRNC5 computer program is preferred. Must be knowledgeable of ASME Code (Sections I and VIII) and API Standards.
Requirements:Must have a minimum of 7 years experience with fired equipment with E&C companies, operating companies, or fabricators. Must be able to thermally rate fired heaters and check mechanical designs of various fired equipment. Requires the individual to develop specifications, assemble requisition packages, complete technical bid evaluations, review vendor drawings/data, and coordinate activities with vendors, clients, and other project team members. Must be timely in producing accurate project deliverables with little to no supervision required. Will be required to supervise and mentor less experienced engineers, and help schedule engineers for different projects. Good communications skills are a must.
