Principal Engineer - Major Projects Group
Westinghouse Electric Company Nuclear Fuel, located in Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a Principal Engineer to participate on the Toshiba Integration Team.In this position, a Principal Engineer can expect to perform the following:Lead development of chemical process from concept to first stage detail design.Review adequacy of design and compliance with technical specifications and engineering standards.Provide technical guidance in the major equipment specification, evaluation, and selection process.Experience with process design, project management, equipment specifications, startup and commissioning required. Solids handling experience preferred. Experience with major facility expansion projects preferred.Ability to work in team environment with flexible demands. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.A successful candidate would be familiar with and/or have experience with the following:Chemical or Mechanical Engineer with minimum of 7 years experience in chemical and/or nuclear fuel industry. Experience with process design, project management, equipment specifications, startup and commissioning required. Solids handling experience preferred.
