Packaging Production Specialist
For over 75 years Rust-Oleum has been a world wide leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry. Vital to the success and growth of our company is a strong commitment to our customers and employees. Rust-Oleum is currently seeking a Packaging Production Specialist to join our Creative Services team at our offices in Somerset, NJ.
Responsibility
· Ensure the timely delivery of product packaging, produced in accordance with Rust-Oleum and Zinsser quality standards.
Required Job Knowledge and Skills:
· Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent work experience.
· 5 to 7 years experience in packaging production
· Knowledge of packaging production including the production of litho cans paper labels, plastic pails, plastic sleeves, cartons and other packaging
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interface with staff in multiple departments and packaging vendors.
· Experience developing packaging production specifications
· Experience reviewing packaging art and pre-production proofs.
· Good trouble-shooting and problem solving skills. Ability to research, assess, resolve and prevent packaging errors
· Press run experience
· PC proficient in Microsoft office programs. Knowledge of Quark, Illustrator and other Mac programs would be a plus.
· Occasional travel is required
