The Stadiums and Arenas division is a $1Billion business within ARAMARK Sports & Entertainment serves more than 148 premier sports stadiums, arenas and concert venues, including the home venues of 13 Major League Baseball teams and 10 National Football League teams. ARAMARK offers stadium and arena owners a single source provider for concessions, event planning, premium dining needs and catering, on-site restaurants, retail merchandise sales and facilities management. ARAMARK Sports & Entertainment has hosted some of the biggest events in sports including the World Series, the Super Bowl, the NBA Finals, the NCAA Final Four, the NBA All-Star Game and the Stanley Cup Finals, focusing on creating the ultimate fan experience. We are currently seeking an Operations Manager for the Facilities operation with ARAMARK at Qwest Field in Seattle, WA. As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for directing all cleaning, sanitizing and waste removal functions within the stadium to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer’s needs. Duties also include completing all required inspection reports, ordering supplies, assisting the General Manager with budgeting, labor costs, supplies costs, inventories, analyzing operating reports, etc... Will also conduct ongoing evaluations, investigate any complaints and take corrective actions. Responsible for ensuring employee motivation, training, coaching and development; this will include making hiring and termination decisions. Will also be responsible for compliance with all established labor and OSHA regulations.-Ideal candidates will possess 2 - 4 years management/supervisory experience with increasing degrees of responsibility attained.-Knowledge of custodial chemicals, equipment, and cleaning procedures is required. -Previous experience within a convention center or sports venue is preferred. -Must have strong organizational and time management skills with a hands-on approach to meeting deadlines. -Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in order to effectively communicate with clients, customers and support staff. -Requires the ability to lead, direct and manage employees and projects effectively.-Excellent problem-solving skills are required. -The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer service. -Must be willing to work a flexible schedule with hours that vary and are heavily event-based, including some evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
