Oilfield Delivery Specialist - Odessa, TX

Nalco has an opening for an Oilfield Delivery Specialist in our Alternate Channels Group located in Odessa, TX  The Oilfield Delivery Specialist will provide customer delivery and safely operate a diesel, multi-geared bobtail truck/pup and/or tractor-trailer combination vehicle. This position is responsible for loading trucks, scheduling daily runs and maintaining trucks and equipment in safe/operable condition. This position will use Qualcomm and/or paper log books for hours of service reporting and is responsible to meet all DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials. In some Nalco location this position may have warehouse responsibilities. The minimum qualifications the candidate will have include:  High school graduate or equivalent GED required Must be 21 years of age and have a current CDL (Commercial Driver's License), issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements, to include Hazardous Materials Handling Certification Past on the job chemical delivery experience working with pumps, meters, gauges, forklift trucks and packaging equipment  This position has a requirement of lifting containers and hoses of 50+ pounds To qualify for placement applicants must meet DOT and Nalco Drug Screen and Physical examination requirements Work schedule may require some holiday and weekend work  Who We Are Nalco Company is the world's leading water treatment and process improvement company.
