Munitions Handler

Perform and document all activities for assigned systems in accordance with approved guidelines and procedures. Conduct plant operations in a safe, environmentally sound, cost effective, and disciplined manner that protects the health and safety of the workers, the public, and the environment. Responsible for unloading pallets of munitions and loading them on conveyor system for processing.

Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent.
One year work experience in a demilitarization facility, chemical plant, nuclear or fossil power generating station, naval or maritime station, or other heavy industry.
Ability to read and interpret prints, drawings, diagrams, and operating instrumentation manuals.
Ability to attend and complete specific training on the operation of the demilitarization facility.
Ability to become a certified operator in accordance with the WA Training Plan.
Ability to operate lifting devices, hoists and overhead cranes.
Forklift experience required. Experience in as toxic/hazardous environment desirable.
When assigned duty, obtain and maintain an Alabama Commercial Driver’s license utilizing ANCDF Driver’s Training Path.
Ability to obtain and maintain CPRP certification.
Ability to work 12 hour shifts.
