Austin Industrial, Inc. is a leading General Contractor who provides construction, maintenance and plant services to a variety of industrial clients.  We are currently seeking an experienced Master Data Management Administrator for Augusta, Georgia.

This is a direct hire position for one of our clients- a global chemical company.

Job Summary:

This job provides opportunities for limited international travel to learn and understand the business processes related to Finance, Sales, Distribution, Quality and Materials Management.

The Master Data Management Administrator will support a Global Chemical Company in the area of Master Data Management.  The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure data integrity and data compliance in the ERP System (SAP).  The Master Data Management Specialist will be responsible for managing requests to: create new master data and/or those related to the ongoing maintenance and revision of master data objects in the SAP System.  Other activity includes but is not limited to data collection, data cleansing, data audit and/or data validation.  The COE Master Data Management Specialist is a liaison between the Global Business and general user community and is primary point of contact for the business.

Future job progression is possible within the company to toward a SAP Business Process Expert or a Business Process Analyst.

Responsibilities: Include the following; other duties may be assigned.Responsible for overall data integrity in the ERP System strictly adhering to Company's Master Data policies and procedures ensuring required sign-offs and approvals are in place and necessary back-up information is available. Additionally is able to apply SOX requirements (i.e. knowledgeable of requirements linked to segregation of duties)Responsible for entering all master data information within required timeframe.Responsible for data maintenance in the ERP System.Ensures that there are no duplicates in the master file, that the master records are complete and consistentResponsible for tracking status of all master data changes and providing follow up communication to requestorsProvides support to other Global Business colleagues (Europe/China) with data collection and cleansing efforts by renewing and highlighting data inconsistencies to support data migration from legacy systems to ERP. Perform some other ERP project related activities as required

· Segregation of Duties Conflicts related to SOX in accordance with DSM Standards.

· Authorization for new users

· Assist Business Process Expert with training of new users.

Qualifications:Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Track record of being a team playerMulti-tasking abilitiesDetail orientedGood CommunicatorTechnically able (no fear of technology)Problem Solving and Analytical SkillsCollege Degree or equivalentExperience with SAP or other ERP an assetKnowledge of Word, Excel,European language expertise an assetExperience supporting multiple priorities simultaneouslyHelp Desk experience would be desired not required.Experience solving problems or working to support ERP systems desired (not required).Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
