RustOleum is currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team at our corporate headquarters in Vernon Hills, Illinois.

 

The principal function and responsibility of this job will be manage a variety of projects and programs for all Rust-Oleum and Zinsser brand marketing functions within the Two-Step Channel of distribution

 

 

 

Responsibilities:Work with Two-Step Sales Team in the development drop-ship programs to gain & maintain sales volume within ChannelCreate seasonal promotional programs for annual Dealer showsCollaborate with MarketScope Team in creating Zinsser brand product assortments to gain & facilitate new distributionCoordinate, develop & manage all Rust-Oleum and Zinsser brand merchandising, P.O.P. & consumer literature used with ChannelManage & facilitate all promotional secondary displaysAttend some dealer shows to support Sales efforts & continue to explore new promotional opportunities

 

Requirements:BA/BS degree with communication, marketing or business emphasis5+ years experience in sales and/or marketingWorking knowledge of the Two-Step Channel of Distribution within the hardware industryFlexible schedule to allow for travel & extended work daysPrior experience in consumer packaged goods or retail backgroundFundamental knowledge of marketing /merchandising principlesExcellent written/verbal/presentation skillsProven ability to be assertive & creative in continually expanding/enhancing marketing initiatives & customer supportAdapt quickly & professionally to changeAbility to manage & organize diverse workload in fast-paced environment
