Manufacturing Technical Service Engineer
(Corporate Process Engineer) Company Description: Our outstanding client is one of the world's largest producers of catalysts used in petroleum refining and petrochemicals production. Job Description: The MTS Engineer provides technical support to the company's catalyst manufacturing plants, including process optimization and troubleshooting, product quality data analysis, scale-up and technology transfer, and problem-solving. Primary Responsibilities: Work closely with company's plants and local operations personnel to identify opportunities to increase process efficiency, expand unit production capacity, and improve finished product quality & performance. Provide process optimization and troubleshooting to the plants Perform product quality data analysis, using DOE and other statistical methods of quality improvement. Provide technical support during the scale-up of new products and processes Act as liaison between R&D and Manufacturing, and lead plant trials in the qualification of new products. Provide technical training to Operations on topics of processing, equipment, products, and analytical methods. Background requirements: BS in Chemical Engineering 5 or more years of process engineering experience in specialty chemical manufacturing operations Demonstrated achievements in improving process efficiency and driving product quality improvements Process engineering experience with extrusion, calcining, mixing, drying, or similar solids handling equipment is highly desirable Willingness to travel 30-40% to company plants in US Benefits: Highly competitive salary, aggressive variable bonus plan, comprehensive benefits package, convenient work schedule (9/80, every other Friday off), paid relocation To Apply:For immediate consideration, click on Apply by E-Mail (be sure to attach your resume).
