Manufacturing Chemist

We seek an experienced professional to manage production at our small but growing medical device business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role you will manufacture and oversee production of chemical devices ensuring strict adherence to FDA and ISO regulations.

 

Other duties include:
Supervise laboratory and production personnel and ensure compliance with recordkeeping regulations.

Prepare all departmental documentation including SOP's and device routers (batch records).

Prepare purchase orders for materials and ensure inventory levels are adequate to meet production needs.

Schedule production and personnel to meet customer requirements.

Identify capital requirements and prepare manufacturing budgets and priorities.


REQUIREMENTS:

A four year degree in Chemistry or a related field is required.
Knowledge of Polymers, Monomers, and Cyanoacrylates preferred.
This individual should have knowledge of ISO 13485 requirements and be familiar with cGMP and FDA compliance.
Distillation experience preferred.
Strong supervisory skills are important.
