Manager, Measurement Systems & Processes
This job is responsible for Managing the Measurement group. Primary responsibilities include; Managing all personnel within the Measurement group. Measurement training development and implemenetation including focused development of targeted field based Measurement Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) or Points of Contact. SME related to measurement standards including design and procedure development. Program and audit oversight for existing measurement hardware and emerging technologies. Process integration of near real time applications with accounting reconcilitations at month end (e.g. automated line balance, facility balance, pump by line, batch tracking, PLDS, Falcon, TAS etc.). Monitoring and measuring product (real time, daily, monthly). Analysis of measurement data and trends (Marine, Pipeline, Inland Terminals). Oversight of measurement problem identification and resolution initiatives. Point person for custody measurement agreements, customer discrepancies and other Commercial agreements requiring measurement expertise. Program lead for key measurement upgrades. Requires experience in liquid Pipeline and Terminal operations with knowledge of industry codes and regulations related to Measurement. The position requires a person who is self motivated, works well in a team environment, has excellent communications skills, pursues improvements, and is computer competent (especially software related to pipeline operations). Additional requirements: The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English with co- workers, supervisors, internal and external customers; the ability to work in stressful conditions; the ability to adapt and respond in changing circumstances; the ability to use a personal computer with the Windows(R) operating system to complete time sheets, send and receive email, and access information posted on the Company's intranet; availability as needed to work on both a scheduled and emergency basis; and the ability to work at the assigned job site.
