The TERATHANE Intermediates facilities consist of Butanediol, Tetrahydrofuran and TERATHANE products. The site is located adjacent to the city of Houston Texas.The successful candidate will manage a motivated maintenance team supporting the largest BDO and THF facilities globally, and a rapidly growing multi-product polymerization facility. They will be accountable for all aspects of routine maintenance, improved equipment reliability, turnaround planning and execution, and small project execution.Responsibilities generally include: • Maintain units in compliance with all laws and safe work environment• Build teamwork between site/operations leadership, engineers, mechanics and contractors • Meet cost and reliability program targets and goals• Continually improve the reliability, productivity, and overall value of the unit and business.• Oversee Material Management, Planning and Scheduling, Daily Job Execution and Contract Maintenance Activity.• Connection to Site Reliability Effort.REQUIRED Education and Skills:• Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in a petrochemical manufacturing environment • 3 to 5-years supervisory experience in a plant environment• High School Diploma or GED• Prior Maintenance Leadership and Reliability Experience - Specific to Petrochemical Industry. • Experience with turnaround, Planning and Scheduling.• Understanding of key chemical industry regulatory drivers • Experience in Maintenance Leadership.• Economic thinking skills – strong financial acumen • Strong demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong organization and planning skills. • Results orientation. PREFERRED Education and Skills:• Minimum 7 years maintenance experience in a petrochemical manufacturing environment • 5+ years supervisory experience in a plant environment• Associate degree or higher• Experience with financial systems, contract administration, turnaround planning, labor relations.We are an equal opportunity employer.
