Huge Opportunity with a Large Chemical Manufacturer!

 

 

Our long-term client has a large chemical facility in NW Indiana.  They have an immediate need for a Maintenance Supervisor.  Relocation fees might be unlikely for this particular position.  Ideal candidate might live on the South Side of Chicago or could live in any of the following Indiana cities:  Gary, Merrillville, Portage, Valparaiso, Chesterton, Michigan City, or La Porte.

Qualifications:7+ years of Maintenance Management experienceStrong Leadership skillsDegree preferred but not mandatory

 

Responsibilities:

 Manage normal day-to-day maintenance work tasksFirst point of contact regarding daily leadership within the maintenance groupEnsure timely completion of normal maintenance activitiesWill work with a Maintenance Manager to identify long-term maintenance solutionsWill set short-term prioritiesWill manage work teamsWill provide a Safe working environmentWill evaluate personnel & set long-term training initiativesWill have other Administrative and Fiscal responsibilities as well
