Yoh Engineering has a contract opportunity for a Maintenance Site Manager to join our customer in Louisiana, Missouri. This is a minimum 2-year contract position, with the possibility to go direct. Essential Duties: • Manage maintenance, facilities and capital improvement crew at chemical facility. Responsible for implementation of safety & quality programs.  • Develop craft skills, and implementation of industry best practices. • Maintain customer relationship and communication with home office. Skills and Experience Needed: • Engineering or technical degree preferred or 12-15 years of field experience in heavy industrial and chemical environment.  • Local craft and supervision following a plus. CMMS experience a plus. Maintenance Site Manager Overall Job Description: •  Develop and communicate work scope for planned corrective and preventative maintenance tasks that often involve multi-craft technicians. •  Initiate, analyze, adjust and publish maintenance schedule according to priority and resource availability. •  Identify vendor resources and delivery capabilities for parts and materials for planned corrective maintenance tasks.  Prepare requisitions and allocate material to work orders. •  Responsible for job plan accuracy (planned vs. actual for labor and materials). •  Develop, maintain and publish reports for planning, scheduling and safety activities. •  Conduct or coordinate training of workers concerning safety laws and regulations, use of safety equipment, devices, clothing and first aid. •  Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. •  Consult health and safety manuals and standards. •  Write reports of findings from investigation of accidents, inspection of facilities or testing of environment. •  Daily interface with client Operations, Facilities, Maintenance and Reliability Engineers and Operations Leader. •  Serve as the gateway between company and customer pertaining to all site and job related decisions. •  Approval of all major decisions must go through this position at some point. •  Manage all employees in a consistent fashion to alleviate problems and ensure that all employees are being treated with respect. •  Employ the most efficient manner possible to enhance productivity while keeping employees safe. •  In charge of the hiring process to find aptly qualified craftspeople to fill open positions in the maintenance, facilities, shops and construction. •  Support and use client CMMS for work order tracking, equipment history, spares, metrics and etc. •  Collect metrics and data to selectively improve performance, productivity.
