This is a direct placement position and is located in Nashville, TN. Our client, leading producer of chemical grade phosphates, is seeking a seasoned maintenance engineer to join their Nashville team. The maintenance engineer is responsible for the general supervision of the plant predictive and preventative maintenance programs, equipment failure analysis, plant spare parts inventory, plant lubrication program, and infrastructure maintenance. You will oversee the operation and maintenance of the plant utilities to include steam, air, cooling water, and natural gas. Requires a thorough understanding of boilers, air compressors, and cooling towers.Requirements:* B.S. Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) with 5 or more years experience in maintenance of chemical plant equipment. * Expert working knowledge in maintenance crafts, production equipment, and chemical processes, safety measures and industry standards * Strong verbal and written skills Required Skills: B.S.
