MECHANICAL ENGINEER w/GULF OF MEXICO EXPERIENCE
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Work as a lead engineer on larger projects or handle smaller projects alone, preparation of specifications for process, utility and compression equipment,
Requirements:
At least 5 years experience in upstream oil and gas as a mechanical/facilities engineer. Must be familiar with API 14C and 14EPreparation of P&ID, SFD & SAFE charts, Technical Bid-evaluations, Vendor data review, preparation of MMS permit package.2 years offshore experience a plus.
Preferences with experience in at least 2 of the following areas:
Mechanical flow sheet preparation.Specification of equipment. (Pressure vessels, pumps, heaters, coolers, compressors, etc.) including data sheets.Line sizingRelief system sizing.Utility system sizing (potable water, diesel, deluge system, instrument air, utility seawater)Compressor station/module design.Pump Selection and NPSH calculations.
A candidate does not have to have all the experience noted above. However, he does have to have experience in 2-3 areas.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, PE a plus
